For Indians, the Swastika sign has a variety of significance. Through people of all faiths use the Swastik symbol, it particularly common among Hindus. The swastika is derived from the Sanskrit word “Svastika” which means “to be well.” The swastika is regarded as a sign of good health and auspiciousness. Hindus’ Symbol is a red swastika, which represents a cross of four equal-length arms. Each of the arms ends is twisted at a right angle. Dots are often inserted between the weapons.

Swastika Symbol Past in ancient times, the swastika cross was widely used by Indo Aryans, Greeks, Hittites, and celts. Hindus also revered Swastika as a religious emblem for millennia, thus popularising it to the point that it seems to be relevant not only in the past but also in today's culture.

In Buddhism, Swastika is a sign of good fortune. It reflects Buddha’s footsteps and spirit. As a result, It is regarded as very sacred and is widely used by Buddhists. In reality, the Swastik cross is imprinted on Gautam BUddha’s Shoulders, Palms, and feet in all of his photographs.

Swastik’s Importance in Jainism

In the Jain faith, The Swastika Symbol is much more important and meaningful than in the Hindu religion. Swastika describes the Seventh Jina, also known as the Tirthankara Suparsva of Jainism. It is one of the most well-known auspicious icons of our day. The swastika is one of the major Icons of the ashta-mangalas in Svetambar Jain’s Culture
